Skitrust only collects the data strictly necessary for the website and the app to work properly, and to improve your experience.

2.1 Through the website

No sensitive data is collected through the website.

• First and last name
• Email address
• Free-text message sent through the contact form
• Browsing data (pages visited, time spent on the website, where the visit came from)
• Technical data (IP address, device type, browser)

2.2 App — camera and photo library

Purpose: to take or import a photo for your profile avatar. Access is only requested when you choose to use it, and we only access the images you explicitly select.

Storage: locally on your device and/or on our servers, with your consent, to display your profile.

2.3 App — location

• Purpose: to provide your GPS coordinates if you activate the emergency feature
• Use: only when you send an alert
• Accuracy: precise GPS location
• Storage: temporary, only for as long as it takes to send the coordinates

2.4 App — authentication and logs

Email address and authentication tokens provided by Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. Error and performance logs are processed through Sentry, solely to track crashes and improve stability.

2.5 Public profile and QR code (Wallet)

Purpose: to give you a Skitrust profile accessible through a QR code, in particular as a Wallet card, making it easier to identify your level and certain public information.

The QR code links to a public URL, which third parties can view only when you choose to share it. You remain in control of the data made public at all times and can change its visibility from the app.

2.6 Ski Coach (AI-assisted analysis)

Purpose: to give you a technical and instructional analysis of your skiing, based on a video you voluntarily submit. Videos are processed using artificial intelligence tools provided by third-party consumer services, solely to produce your report.

Source videos are not stored permanently by Skitrust.

3.1 Website

• Replying to your messages
• Managing your newsletter subscription
• Sending you information about Skitrust training and news

3.2 App

We never sell your data to third parties.

• Profile management: displaying your avatar and account information
• Safety features: providing your emergency location
• Secure authentication through Apple or Google
• Service improvement (usage analysis, bug fixes, technical optimisation)
• Providing a user-controlled public profile, accessible through a QR code
• AI-assisted analysis services for instructional purposes and to help you progress in your sport

• Performance of the service: authentication and the app’s essential features

• Contact form: 12 months after the last interaction
• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe

• Profile photos: kept for as long as your account remains active

Service providers are bound by strict confidentiality obligations and may under no circumstances use your data for any other purpose.
