How it works

Step 01

Pass the Essentiel

A quick refresher on the rules and the right habits in the mountains, then a quiz. You become a validated member and get your Skitrust card with its QR code. The Essentiel is renewed every year, in a few minutes.

Step 02

Keep your skier logbook

Declare your level, from N0 to N10, and add your medals and competitions, with the instructor who awarded them if you like. Send proof in your name to have a medal verified.

Step 03

Gain Altitude

Every good habit earns you metres: the theory in the app (Knowledge), practical training out in the field (Prevention), technique, helping each other, protecting the mountains, your experience. Each part of the wheel has its own actions, in any order you like. Glacier takes at least 150 m in four parts of the wheel; Sommet, in all six, with your level assessed by an instructor.

1. Vallée

   Validated member

2. Alpage

   From 1,000 m

3. Glacier

   From 2,500 m

4. Sommet

   From 4,807 m

A verified medal counts for more than a simple declaration. Every 1 September, new season, new climb: your metres go back to zero, your logbook stays.

Step 04

Enjoy the perks

As a validated member, you already enjoy our partners’ perks, with more on the way at each status.

Step 05

Add your loved ones

Family, friends, instructors, guides: add them by QR code or by ID. Create your children’s logbooks and manage them with the other parent. A child’s profile has no public page.
